2) Installed a photo gallery extension for the document exchange (Bring2mind.DMX.NewGallery_01.03.04_Install):

The gallery addon allows you to show DMX content as an image gallery. In the module's settings you specify where in the document tree you want the gallery to start. Folders are shown as albums, images as thumbnails. Clicking on one of the thumbnails brings up the lightbox which can be used to quickly browse through the images.

This addon is built on top of jQuery and the jQuery lightbox addon. You can tweak the layout and rendering of the image list to your liking. You can even maintain multiple ascxs for different renderings and select one to load per module if you want to go that far.

The image thumbnails are cached inside DMX. Permissions and approval are respected throughout.

[Updated 4/20/11: Also installed WatchersNET.TagCloud 01.09.03 & after a couple days got an update that made it actually work!]

• updated News Feed to 04.02.00;
• installed ModuleActionsMenu_01.03.00_DNN5 (but context menu still displays using the default display for unknown reasons);
• WatchersNET.SiteMap_DNN5_01.03.03 (visible at bottom of home page - if folks like, it will be put on all pages)
• WatchersNET.UrlShorty_01.03.00_DNN5.3+ (but requires IIS admin access to let it handle http 404 errors)
