PANEL:
Cuts to Medicaid and Closing Rural Clinics and Hospitals

The proposed Medicaid cuts in the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” would disproportionately affect rural communities and seriously jeopardize the financial stability of rural hospitals and the communities that depend on them.

This panel will explore the impact of Medicaid funding cuts on small rural communities across Washington state. Panel members bring diverse regional perspectives and expertise in direct patient care, public policy, and community health services.
