Heidi Jackson

Heidi is Executive Director of The DOVE Project, a domestic violence and sexual assault agency serving Vashon Island, Washington. Heidi has led the organization since 2018 after joining its board in 2014, building it into a critical community response resource that coordinates survivor advocacy, trauma-informed mental health care, school-based prevention, and crisis intervention across a rural, geographically isolated service area with limited access to emergency and behavioral health infrastructure. She has implemented and expanded the Community Access to Therapy Voucher Program, connecting residents to free mental health care and closing a critical gap in local crisis response capacity. Her work reflects a sustained commitment to strengthening community resilience and inter-agency coordination in service of survivors, victims, and the broader emergency response network on Vashon Island.
