In addition to its talk and music programming, Voice of Vashon serves the community with its Emergency Alerts. These are made accessible to the community via emails, at 1650AM,  on their website, and on their Facebook page.

VashonBePrepared works closely with VoV to distribute information during emergencies and during daily life.
