eoc-ant.800x1206The local ARES team worked on the antenna candelabra at VIFR Station 55 last spring as noted in this post:

http://vashonbeprepared.org/News/Blogs/tabid/146/EntryId/77/Antenna-Remount-at-VIFR-Station-55.aspx

Then maybe 6 months back, the dedicated 2 meter antenna was replaced with a tri-band antenna covering 6 & 2 meter and 440 per the new diagram to the right. (Click the image for a larger version. Go to the club’s files repository on Yahoo for a full resolution version.)

And for the future it seems like another 2m/440 antenna (perhaps a club or Arrow J-pole) might get added upside down between the tri-band and VHF marine over on the right. Currently we have to manually switch which radio uses it: the digital radio VHF/UHF and the tri-band Yaesu FT-8900.

Thanks to Jim Tharp and Georgia Gallus for their help with this updated diagram.
