COVID-19 vaccinations are available free on the island at Vashon Pharmacy and Sea Mar at Sunrise Ridge, as well as other locations off-island.

Who is eligible to be vaccinated?
Washington state is currently vaccinating anyone 12 years and older.
For 12- to 17-year olds, the Pfizer vaccine is the only option currently approved for use in the U.S.
Which vaccines are available?
There are 3 vaccines currently in use in the United States:
The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is a two-dose vaccine, given 3 weeks apart, and is approved for those 12 and older. It received full FDA approcval for those 16 and over. For 12-15 year olds, it is still under emergency use authorization.
The Moderna vaccine is also a two-dose vaccines approved for use in those 18 and older, with 4 weeks between doses. It has emergency use authorization from the FDA.
The Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccine is one dose, for those 18 and older. Its use was temporarily paused, but as of April 24th, 2021 was approved to resume. It has emergency use authorization from the FDA.

Can I get my 2nd shot on Vashon if I got the first elsewhere?
Yes. Vashon Pharmacy & Sea Mar offer second shots.
What do the vaccines cost? Do I need insurance?
COVID-19 vaccines are free, whether or not you have insurance. If you have insurance, you may be asked for your information to help pay for the vaccine administration, but you will never be charged a copay, you will not be turned away for lack of insurance, or asked for any payments.
What about booster shots?
Additional shots (after a full series) are currently only available for those with compromised immune systems or who are taking immunosuppressant drugs. Booster shots for everyone else are being studied and discussed, and may be recommended and become available.
